Please, don't. Just correct the scripts. You will have to do it sooner
or later...
I do agree in correcting the script, we will have to, in fact i am
filing bugs for stuff i find.
But i would think that we are a bit too far in the release cycle for 9.2
to have to deal with failing scripts.
Besides coreutils should at least warn users, not stop working abruptly.
We also have user made scripts to deal with, and we should give a
warning to users that they have to change those scripts, before breaking
them.
