nope, it is a problem in gaim: perl-base 2:5.8.0-28mdk is GREATER than perl-base 2.8.0 gaim should require perl-base >= 5.8.0


now we have

The following packages have to be removed for others to be upgraded:
gaim-0.64-3mdk.i586 (due to unsatisfied perl-base == 2:5.8.0) (y/N)

since perl-base = 2:5.8.1-0.RC3.1mdk
is GREATER than
perl-base = 2:5.8.0
