During the installation of Mandrake 9.2 Beta 1 LILO failed to write. It gave me
this error:
Fatal: UNSAFE may be used with floppy or MBR only
When I checked /etc/lilo.conf I could see that the Floppy boot option was set
like this:
other=/dev/hda1
label="floppy"
unsafe
/dev/hda1 is first partition on my harddrive and it is of type swap:
/dev/hda1 swap swap defaults 0 0
So other should be set to /dev/fd0 which is the floppy.
