You call broken updates, upgrades, conflicts, unintentional rollbacks and 
coredumps a "production quality"??? Maybe in RH terms :))))

Anyway, we (CSC) are forced to use RH on some legacy clusters, believe me, 
apt-get-rpm IS a disaster.
