------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-03-12 23:58 ------- Closing candidate? ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------- Reminder: ------- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] status: UNCONFIRMED creation_date: description: I'm trying to rebuild a package to avoid a file conflict with an installed package. The act of trying to rebuild the package conflicts with the installation according to rpm, which requires me to use the --nodeps flag to run 'rpm -ba ...'. This is bogus. In a previous version of rpm, the --clean and --rmsource flags required --nodeps to remove the building files. I reported this through channels to the rpm author. Now the bug is worse. Can you help? Thanks....
