Crsytal Sound Fusion chip combo not correctly configured and driver does not work. I have a sound chip combo a cs4236b and a cs4611 The install process set me up with the 46xx driver which does not work. I had to go to the alas web page to figure out how to fix the modules.conf file to enable the cs4236 driver. !!! How come there is no warning /notification and or docs about changing the sound system !!!! I shouldnt have to go somewhere on the web to debug and/or figure out what to do . This is very frustrating. !!!!!
