Jae, its actually easier than you think to set this up.. Make sure your
ethernet card(nic) is properly installed and that it can be recognized by your
linux box. Once this is working just hook your adsl modem to your nic using
the crossover cable, mine is the gray cable.. If your provider has given you a
static ip then just use it in your ifconfig.. If its a dynamic ip then use
dhcp, you can do this manually or configure it in your /etc/network-scripts
directory.. Or you can make it even easier and use linuxconf to set it up..
By the way my provider is south western bell....
