Hi~

I tried it.  First I got caught up in download hell.  Each package I
downloaded required another package to be installed before hand.  Half
way through the installs I had to use the --nodeps flag to get one of
the packages to install.  The very next one seg faulted.  I tested out
gcc afterwards to see if it still worked.  Nope, it had died a horrible
death.  My attempt to erase what I had installed and reinstall the
originals failed.  I ended up having to pull out my backup.......
