Hello,

I am trying to install the ocean modelling software ROMS and one of the
prerequisites is installing netcdf via cygwin64 following the steps shown in
'https://www.myroms.org/wiki/ROMS_Cygwin#Install_NetCDF'. In the process I
obtained the following error:

Adrian@LAPTOP-1M0U3VET ~/software/netcdf-3.6.1
$ CC=gcc FC=gfortran-4 F77=gfortran-4 CPPFLAGS=-DpgiFortran ./src/configure

configure: netCDF 3.6.1
checking build system type... ./src/config.guess: unable to guess system type

pertinent to <config-patches@gnu.org> in order to provide the needed

uname -r = 3.1.4(0.340/5/3)

It says to contact this email address in case of trouble, can you give me a
hand?
