To move my project forward, is there anything I can do while I wait to get those two files working? For example, could I hardcode a fake replacement for them that simply outputs an answer in the right format? If I did that, what does CMake expect to get from them and how does it get it? Env var settings, stdout strings, function return vals ... ?
