I know this post is old, but for future reference here is a few tips: Always check different websites for cost, I use Newegg.com quite a bit because of the reviews and I am a returning member so I get quite a few coupons and discounts.
Are you building this system with Windows XP, or WIndows 7, I assume you would only use these 2 programs and nothing else as they are the most popular. If Windows 7 is the key then I would move towards 64bit software and give 8GB minimum of memory. Memory is cheap in todays market and having 8GB is a great tool. Also add a graphics card. There are many different views when it comes to graphics cards, make sure the motherboard supports PCI express 2.0 x16, that is a decent type nowadays. I would get at leasat a 128bit video card with 96+ steam processors and at least 512 or 1GB or memory. The card is a middle of the line and sufficient enough to use Photoshop and other similar graphics software. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Computer Tech Support" group.
