Thanks [~cnauroth]. I think it makes a lot of sense.
I'm leaning towards to put it in HDFS as well. The sets of failed tests are
fairly consistent with what I have seen in the HDFS-6200 work. Having this
patch in obviously does not fix the tests, but it'll reduce the turn around
time dramatically (saving 3hrs!) which makes fixing these tests more
productive. :-)
