Senthil V Kumar updated HADOOP-8804:
------------------------------------

    Attachment: DisplayOptions.jpg

Hi Eli,

Options 1 & 4 looks to be more cleaner.
Option 2: There could be more than 1 IP
Option 3: Might not be an equivalent information.

Is the option of letting the users know list of IPs to which NameNode is bound
to (incase of a wildcard IP) will help?

Attached are the screen shot of options. Let me know whether this is fine.

Also thanks for the pointing out the style guidelines. Will incorporate the
required changes.

Thanks
Senthil

> When IPC addresses are bound to the wildcard (ie the default config) the NN,
> JT (and probably RM etc) Web UIs are a little goofy. Eg "0 Hadoop Map/Reduce
> Administration" and "NameNode '0.0.0.0:18021' (active)". Let's improve them.
