   interesting issue. 
   1. leaving docker images alone: ensures things work on older releases 
(example of regression: new wildfly and rhel8)
   2. updating docker images highlights regressions on new OS releases 
(example: old wildfly + openssl3)
   
   OS retirement is out of our control. What we could do is in release notes 
state which versions we tested on and which ones we stopped test runs, an "OS 
testing/compatibility doc". Here we could list what were discontinued, and 
mention wildfly as a jar you will need to downgrade to use openssl to talk to 
azure/s3. OpenSSL TLS is still faster than jdk 17 TLS so people should.
