ashutosh -this with data on s3? No HDFS issues AFAIK
* try playing with TLS encryption options, using openssl etc -its been very
fussy, hence the various "fs.s3a.ssl.channel.mode" options, where
"default_jsse" strips some.
* cloudstore storediag reviews your s3a TLS settings
* and if you are using the s3:// connector, do try the s3a one to see if it is
better/worse, with directory marker retention and the magic committer
enhancements of 3.3.5 as well as the staging committer.
