Committed to {{trunk}}, {{branch-3.3}}, {{branch-3.2}} and {{branch-3.1}}
branches. In {{branch-2.10}}, we can not use Java 8 features like lambda.
[~hemanthboyina] Could you provide a separate patch for {{branch-2.10}}? It's
mainly about test.
