If this is an LGPLv2 [dependency|http://json.sf.net], then that's a
[problem|https://www.apache.org/legal/resolved.html#category-x] not only for
the backport but also for including Aliyun OSS in _any_ ASF release. Please
find an alternative JSON library. When the json.org dependency was
[reclassified|https://www.apache.org/legal/resolved.html#json], Ted Dunning
wrote a compatible, ALv2 [replacement|https://s.apache.org/xmq9] that may be
useful.

The release [wiki|https://wiki.apache.org/hadoop/HowToRelease] is thorough, but
as you run into issues please don't hesitate to ask for help. You'll want to
push for/monitor resolution of [blockers|https://s.apache.org/T1rV] for the 2.9
branch. You may also want to look for blockers for 2.8.3 and 3.0.0 that affect
branch-2.9.
