In [MSDN Naming Files, Paths, and
Namespaces|https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/aa365247(v=vs.85).aspx#naming_conventions],
control character {{\b}} and {{\t}} are not explicitly forbidden, so I think
they are allowed. I don't have any Windows host, will verify once I set up one.
If they are allowed, could the issue be the filename with escape passed to
NativeIO? Windows does NOT allow backslash.
