Review comment:
       I'm not very familiar with this code, but I've noticed there are lots of 
`Map`s used where it looks like `List<Pair<K, V>>` is the right choice. Is 
`filterPredicatesAndMetadata` ever expected to contain duplicate 
`FilterPlanNode` keys?
