I was just proposing what worked for us in terms of cost. Your mileage may vary, of course. In terms of state machine, we need to transition out of "Moved" state to ONLINE and OFFLINE states as well (what if a moved segment is deleted) Lastly, let us ask ourselves why the broker needs to know that a segment has been moved. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
