I took a cursory look at the implementation. I don't have a strong opinion other than `DEFAULT_ENABLE_OFFSET_LAG_METRIC` should be false. And it seems all of the offset fetching in `IngestionDelayTracker` is done with try/catch, so there's no chance of breaking the existing time based lag tracking. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
