Review Comment:
   I'm not sure about this tests. There is not guarantee in the code here that 
queries are going to be executed in parallel. We assume there is no concurrent 
error right now, but if we add it in the future, this test may not find it in a 
deterministic way, so this would become a flaky test.
   
   And when I say I'm not sure about it, I mean I don't think there is an easy 
way to deterministically verify the behavior we want to test here. The JVM team 
uses https://github.com/openjdk/jcstress to look for concurrency issues, but I 
think it is a very low-level library and it is not integrated with surefire 
properly.
   
   Another reason why we cannot trust a test like this one is that most of the 
time, concurrent issues won't be seen until the code is JIT compiled, which may 
not be in a test like this.
   
   It is not perfect, but one improvement would be to run this test in a loop 
(on the same cluster) N times, so at least we increase the chances of finding 
an issue. How many times we run the test depend on the balance between test 
effectiveness and time we want to spend
