We have been using tiered storage with keeping recent data in SSDs and a bit older data in HDDs. It works well except our deployment times (and replica guarantees missing) for tiered storage is very high since tiered storage doesn't support `instanceAssignmentConfig` yet. We would like to check on the status of Phase2 of Tiered Storage support and is it a good project to work on and contribute to?
