Review Comment:
I tried removing exclude("*") and it compiled fine locally with no
dependency conflicts. However, CI failed with a javaCompiler error in
trino-connector-435-439:compileJava, which may be related to the dependency
change affecting Gradle's task graph. Reverted to the original exclude("*")
approach to be safe. Will revisit this separately if needed.
