### What problem does this PR solve?
Issue Number: N/A
Related PR: #62614
Problem Summary: Backport #62614 to branch-4.2. Expression evaluation could
return a column whose size or physical type does not match the declared result,
allowing inconsistencies to propagate downstream. Add validation in
`VExpr::execute_column` and move subclass implementations to
`execute_column_impl` with read-only selectors. Adapt type validation to the
4.2 APIs, including valid non-nullable results for nullable declared types.
