fix(i18n): translate whole documents with retry feedback (#4346)
## Summary
Recent Japanese translation batches selected 20 tasks but produced only
two target pages because 19 tasks failed validation. Translate each
complete Markdown/MDX document in one request and remove the automated
workflow's document-length and chunk-size limits.
- Make at most three total attempts per document, passing all earlier
validation errors into the next request. Retain a non-empty third
response with warnings bound to its source and target hashes. Requests
that produce no usable document still fail.
- Match product terms as complete Latin words, permit prose-number
formatting differences, and compile MDX after removing front matter.
Include concrete protected-content differences in retry feedback.
- Share translation-state, syntax and internal-link checks between the
publisher and PR build workflow. Run them before pushing; invalid syntax
or broken links still block publication of a retained third response.
- Use `gpt-6-sol` by default with `xhigh` reasoning effort. Allow ten
minutes per model request and 120 minutes for the generation job.
- Extend the local simulator to cover retry recovery, ten-page fallback
batches, long documents and MDX, including uncommitted implementation
changes in a disposable clone.
## Validation
- 95 Node tests and five Python link tests passed. Adapter and document
tests were rerun after switching reasoning effort to `xhigh`.
- Workflow YAML parsing and `git diff --check` passed.
- Offline simulations used Codex/GitHub mocks, a local bare Git remote
and the production generation/publication scripts:
| Scenario | Attempts per document | Candidates | Generation failures |
Shared admission checks |
| --- | ---: | ---: | ---: | --- |
| Retry recovery | 2 | 1 | 0 | Passed |
| Ten-page third-attempt fallback | 3 | 10, retained with warnings | 0 |
Passed |
| `be-config.md`, 71,603 characters | 1 | 1 | 0 | Passed |
| Data-integration MDX page | 2 | 1 | 0 | Passed |
The simulations do not measure real model quality, latency or cost. The
full production website build was not run locally and remains part of PR
CI.
## Versions
- [x] dev
- [x] 4.x
- [ ] 3.x
- [ ] 2.1 or older (not covered by version/language sync gate)
The automation manages Japanese Dev, 4.x and community pages. This PR
changes its implementation and operator documentation; it does not
change translated document content or routes.
## Languages
- [ ] Chinese
- [x] English
The English change is the operator README. No versioned or localized
user-document counterpart needs synchronization.
## Docs Checklist
- [x] Checked by AI
- [x] Test Cases Built
- [x] Updated required version and language counterparts, or explained
why not
- [x] If only one language changed, confirmed whether source/translation
counterparts need sync
