## Summary - Remove T08's estimated and accumulated Codex token budgets. The workflow still limits successful candidates per run, document size, chunk size, and call duration, and records actual token usage. The separate T07 manual translation tool is unchanged. - Make one-page `validate` fail when no candidate is produced, and record a model call when it used tokens even if its candidate failed validation. - Normalize extra blank lines at the end of generated documents so the draft PR can pass `git diff --check`. - Add a local end-to-end simulator that runs the real selection, generation, translation checks, Git commit, and publish scripts against a local bare remote. Codex and GitHub CLI are mocked; it does not call a real model or create a hosted PR. ## Validation - `node --test scripts/i18n/__tests__/*.test.cjs`: 76 passed. - `git diff --check upstream-apache/master...HEAD`: passed. - Local simulator selected `docs/admin-manual/system-tables/information_schema/engines.md`. An invalid model unit made `validate` exit 1. A valid mock result reporting 100,000 tokens produced one candidate; `check-translations.cjs` passed, the local remote received a draft branch containing only the Japanese page and state file, and the GitHub mock recorded a draft PR. ## Rollout The repository's ongoing auto-generation variables remain unset. The local simulation proves script integration only; OSS Codex authorization, real Japanese output, PAT publishing, and the resulting GitHub checks still need a one-page Actions validation before enabling ongoing generation. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
