Thanks, this is a valid framework contract gap. The current prerequisite PR resolves connector metadata independently during required-property derivation and sink translation, so routing and sink construction are not guaranteed to observe the same metadata generation. Also, Optional.empty() currently conflates "no connector-specific distribution" with "metadata resolution failed". We will keep this PR scoped and address this in a follow-up PR: pin a statement-scoped write-planning descriptor (table handle/provider, bound schema, distribution, and metadata identity), make failures explicit when routing is required, and add a test that changes routing metadata between planning stages.
