Thanks @yiguolei, that settles it. Since v1 is going away I'll close this PR and #68118 rather than harden a path that's being removed, and I'll drop the v1 slot-slot wiring from #67774 so that one stays on the v2 and native paths. @HappenLee this also moots the scope question I raised above about the five new v1 findings. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
