# Proposed changes
Since DateV2Literal and DateTimeV2Literal is not supported on BE, do not
simplify `cast('2000-01-01', dateV2)` to DateV2Literal in FoldConstantRule.
In the future, when BE support DateV2Literal, we have to make 2 changes:
1. revert this change in FoldConstantRuleOnFe,
2. in ExpressionTraslator.visitDateLiteral(), remove code which convert
DateV2Literal to CastExpr
