Hi @gavinchou , thanks for your contribution and the idea is great! However, I don't think it is convenient for the developer to update the `version.txt` after he modifies the third-parties. He probably forget to modify it. I think we could record the MD5 checksums of each packages and the build scripts (e.g. `build-thirdparty.sh`) in `TP_INSTALL_DIR` and calculate the diffs before we build the project. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
