# Proposed changes Issue Number: close #xxx ## Problem Summary: Doris uses regular matching strings. If the name contains underscores, it will be converted to '.' wildcard. ``` // org.apache.doris.common.PatternMatcher#convertMysqlPattern switch (ch) { case '%': sb.append(".*"); break; case '.': sb.append("\\."); break; case '_': sb.append("."); break; ``` In grant statement, database and table support matching a single '*' wildcard, the other cases are string case-sensitive equivalent matching. ## Checklist(Required) 1. Does it affect the original behavior: (No) 2. Has unit tests been added: (Yes) 3. Has document been added or modified: (No) 4. Does it need to update dependencies: (No) 5. Are there any changes that cannot be rolled back: (No) ## Further comments If this is a relatively large or complex change, kick off the discussion at [d...@doris.apache.org](mailto:d...@doris.apache.org) by explaining why you chose the solution you did and what alternatives you considered, etc... -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
