A Root Admin must first allow `sound` in the ACS global settings. Then, the person managing the Windows VM can enable it at the instance-level settings. After that, the Windows VM will detect the virtual audio device and enable the sound capabilities. If you’re asking about other operating systems, as far as I know, this only affects Windows. For example, I use a Linux VM daily via remote desktop, and sound has always worked out of the box (no extra setup needed). -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
