Closing this as not planned. The `kafka` idempotent repository (`camel.idempotency.repository.type=kafka`) already provides a persistent store intended for long-running or interruptible connectors, without extra dependencies (see https://camel.apache.org/camel-kafka-connector/next/user-guide/idempotency.html). A JDBC-backed repository would pull camel-sql, a connection pool and a JDBC driver into every connector package, and it would need datasource credentials in the connector configuration. That goes against keeping the core glue thin.
