Closing this as answered in the thread: to restore a subset, point the source at the matching objects with `camel.kamelet.aws-s3-source.prefix` (for example a per-user or per-date prefix) and stop or delete the connector once you have checked the restore. Note that `camel.kamelet.aws-s3-source.deleteAfterRead` defaults to `true`, so if the bucket is your backup set it to `false` and enable idempotency (`camel.idempotency.enabled=true` with `camel.idempotency.expression.type=header` and `camel.idempotency.expression.header=CamelAwsS3Key`, see https://camel.apache.org/camel-kafka-connector/next/user-guide/idempotency.html) so the same objects are not read again on every poll; also see #1849 for a known problem with `camel-aws-s3-source-kafka-connector` 4.22.0. If you hit a new problem with the 4.22.x connector, please open a new issue with the version, config and logs; usage questions are also welcome on [email protected] or https://camel.zulipchat.com. --- _Claude Code on behalf of Andrea Cosentino_ -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
