An explicit flush position is used as the documented final file length. For example, appending 20 bytes to a 100-byte file and specifying position 120 flushes at 120, rather than 220. The missing-position fallback remains the current file size. A separate integration worktree containing the six independent cloud fixes also passes the full 713-module `mvn -Dquickly install` reactor build. Live cloud integration tests were not run.
