Thanks @davsclaus, both done (eb82f7f88e75, de8801b26706): the reschedule in `onFailure` now catches `RejectedExecutionException` with a DEBUG line, as you suggested, so a view stopped between `isCurrent()` and `schedule` no longer throws into the HTTP client's callback thread; and the "Try to acquire lock" debug line has a comment saying a test hooks on it.
