## Backport of #28095 **Original PR:** #28095 - CAMEL-25787: camel-smooks - handle Smooks Source bodies like other XML message bodies **Original author:** @oscerd **Jira:** [CAMEL-25787](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CAMEL-25787) **Target branch:** `camel-4.22.x` (4.22.3) Cherry-pick (`git cherry-pick -x`) of `a439c1ab3912`, the squash merge of #28095 on `main`. ### Straight cherry-pick The changes under `components/camel-smooks` are the same as in #28095, line for line. `SmooksProcessor.java` and `SmooksSecuritySupport.java` were identical on `main` and `camel-4.22.x` before the change, and the new tests use `org.apache.camel.test.junit6.CamelTestSupport`, which the module already uses on this branch. Left out: the hunk in `camel-4x-upgrade-guide-4_24.adoc`, a file that does not exist on this branch.
