@gnodet I opened #27904 to replace this one: it cherry-picks #27762 (CAMEL-25582) and then #27764 (CAMEL-25601) onto `camel-4.22.x`, which both apply without conflicts. That brings in the reconnect timer handling and the connect-callback guards of #27762 as they were reviewed, which resolves the blocking point in my review here.
