@jamesnetherton a follow-up on the two Vert.x 4 blockers in my review: fabric8 `kubernetes-client` 8.0.0 is released, and it uses `kubernetes-httpclient-vertx-5` at runtime by default (7.9.0, which we use today, still defaults to the Vert.x 4 `kubernetes-httpclient-vertx`). So upgrading to 8.0.0 (CAMEL-25031) removes the Vert.x 4 core from both the Camel CLI launcher and `camel-kubernetes`, without exclusions. Either is fine: do the `kubernetes-client` 8.0.0 upgrade in this PR, or as a follow-up PR right after this one.
