Addressed in b9f9429: - **[Suggestion] fresh wrapper per call** — done: the two `Collections.unmodifiableMap` views are created once in `final` fields, so `getWriterHintMap() == getWriterHintMap()` holds again. They still wrap the same backing `EnumMap`s, so they are still live views. `testHintMapsAreLiveViews` passes unchanged and now also asserts `assertSame` on a second call of each getter. - **[Nit] two adjacent `=== camel-barcode - ...` headings** — deliberate. They are two separate notes (ISO-8859-1 text, read-only hint maps), and the 4.23 guide does the same for other components, e.g. camel-jgroups, camel-spring-redis and camel-mongodb.
