@luigidemasi both points of your review are addressed in f9918575cb: - **P1:** the upgrade now records whether it went through the consumer's `handlers`. Channels that did not go through them are closed when they send a message, and are skipped when producers send. - **P2:** the registering endpoint is passed through the registration, and the servlet context is started as soon as an endpoint or its component needs it.
