@jwgmeligmeyling 1. Operator was using as a simple installer, that executes only once. There is nothing to operate after that. 2. karavan-installer (former karavan-cli) executes same k8s API but does not require to be install itself into k8s and does not require to pass all Operator approval procedures. 3. Also installer could generate YAML with resources required for installation without applying to k8s. It helps when k8s managed by Argo or similar GitOps system. 4. AWS documentation was created for Operator. We have limited manpower to update it for installer.
