Hello. This is something expected. The procedure you've described is illustrated in the [running a registry as a Pod](https://camel.apache.org/camel-k/next/installation/registry/own.html#configuring-registry-run-pod) documentation. Please, notice that in order this to run, you must provide the IP and not the host name, as for the architecture of Kubernetes, the kubelet won't be available to resolve the DNS when trying to pull the images.
