Hey @jbonofre, if you want, I can commit to help you get the testing part done next week. I have worked w/ converting this component to `test-infra` for Camel 3.x and I'd be happy to do the same w/ 4.x. I'd be sending those directly to your branch, so we can combine things in these PR. The only thing I'd need to know is what is the state of testing at this moment. I see that we have no tests on this PR yet, but I am not sure if any test has been worked offline.
