I greatly appreciate @bvfalcon 's effort on this. However, I would like us to start focusing our efforts on Camel 4 with Jakarta 10. That said, I wouldn't oppose merging this on Camel 3.x if the following is true: 1. It doesn't break user's code and is somewhat compatible 2. There are long term benefits of migrating to Jakarta EE 8 (security fixes, maintenance, etc) that would reduce our maintenance efforts on 3.x code base after we focus on 4.x 3.
