Yes you can run YAML routes with spring boot also We are working on camel-jbang (camel cli) that makes you run Camel locally in a similar way as Camel K but without kubernetes. The idea is then you can export this to a camel-spring-boot project where you can then use traditional maven/gradle projects to continue.
