As far as I can remember, the rationale was that we can auto configure stuffs for the http protocol 'easily' but for other protocols it may be more complex so we decided to leave such task for the user (but I agree that we need some additional documentation on the subject). Notes: - There is an open issue to have a proper and dedicated trait for the http layer so it does not mess up with generic services creation. - We may think to introduce some more probes to automatically configure the service for non http components. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
