I also think that, in its essence, my proposal is a hack using partials for something they were not designed for. > The quarkus partial build wouldn't actually need a local copy of the main camel repo once this idea was accepted/committed; it could use the remote repo. That sounds promising. No manual local setup is good for both devs and CI.
