sivakumar-mahalingam opened a new issue, #4447:
URL: https://github.com/apache/amoro/issues/4447

   ### What happened?

The GitHub Actions workflow `.github/workflows/take.yml` automatically
assigns a user when they comment `take` on an issue.

It uses the additive `github.rest.issues.addAssignees` API without checking
whether the issue already has an assignee. Consequently, if multiple users
comment `take`, every commenter is added as an assignee.

Expected behavior: only the first user who comments `take` should be
assigned. Later `take` comments should not modify the existing assignment.
